Privacy

Last updated 25 October 2026

The short version. OnTheFly keeps your roster, pay and tax answers so it can show your swings and take-home pay on any device you sign in on. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time. Questions go to privacy@onthefly.au.

What we keep

We don't ask for your tax file number, bank details, address or date of birth, and we don't use analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we keep it

Only to run OnTheFly for you: drawing your roster, working out your pay and tax, and keeping it the same on your phone and computer. It isn't used for anything else.

Where it's kept

These services may store data outside Australia. We only use them to run OnTheFly.

Your figures are estimates

Pay and tax figures are worked out from what you enter and published ATO rates. They're a guide, not financial or tax advice. Your payslip and the ATO have the final say.

Deleting your data

In the app, open your account, then Erase or delete:

Questions or requests

To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or make a privacy complaint, email privacy@onthefly.au. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app.
